One of the original contributors to the Ground Mass project, Minneapolis, Minnesota resident Shannon Ekundayo Reddy chose the name Plot Twist from his love of game changing surprises. Moments when new ideas emerge and anything is possible. After contributing several standout edits for the Ground Mass monthly compilations, he has spent the last several months developing original compositions in the 160 bpm realm to produce what is now the Planetary EP.

Heavily influenced by the soulful and spacey atmospheric Jungle sounds of Axis/ Ils & Solo, LTJ Bukem, Peshay, and Photek, Shannon also draws from current influences like Chicago Footwork, as well as neon bright modern beat music from the likes of Rustie and Obey City. "I set out to make Footwork with Jungle influences. What I ended up with was somehow more a full on Jungle EP with Footwork ideas blended in."
